Roofing Project at Villas of Somerset

Dear valued owners and residents of Villas at Somerset,

We are excited to announce that we will be starting the replacement of all roofs starting within the next week or so weather permitting. The vendor Roofing Brothers of  Florida plans to have dumpsters and containers for storage. The vendor plans to start on buildings 18 and 19 (per the map attached) first and then move their way down after that. Management will be sending emails as to what building they are doing next throughout the project and inspection dates.

This is the projected plan order of buildings they will be working on

SCHEDULE

PHASE I - Buildings 18, 17, 16, 15

- Building 18 will start Thursday and once we finish the dry-in we will start the tear-off on Building 17.

PHASE II - 14, 1, 2

PHASE III - 13, 9, 20

PHASE IV - 12, 8, 11, 7, 10

PHASE V - 4, 5, 6 

- Buildings 4, 5, and 6 - We will need to closely coordinate since the neighboring community shares the access road.

PHASE VI - 19 (Fire Building - this building will be finished last per Brinda)

*The schedule of building phases may be modified during the course of the project.  Roofing Brothers will give a notification. 

Below are some very important items to keep in mind during this project

  1. Debris will be around the buildings during active building replacements. This includes nails and sharp items, so please be mindful when walking around any are where work is taking place. Wear shoes at all times.
  2. Do not park around dumpsters at any time.
  3. Only Construction debris is allowed to be placed in dumpsters, they will be motoring this via surveillance.
  4. As there will be force used on the roof and hammering, please remove all valuable items off the walls while work is being performed on your building.
  5. Please remove anything outside of your unit that could potentially get damaged during the project.
  6. Be mindful when exiting and entering your unit for falling debris or debris that has fallen.
  7. There will be loud noise during the project, we do apologize for this inconvenience.
  8. Do not allow children or anyone to play on or around equipment.
